“The Last Comedian Standing” was not just a comedy show. It contained three levels of entertainment, Comedy, R&B, Soul and Rap wrap-up in one package. Musical performances by Yissarian Depree Bowens, Hennessy (Jeffrey Harris) and Chuck Saldivar kept the show at it’s pick.
Even though it was only three prize winners in the comedian contest, the audience said that all seven comedians that preformed were great and they would go see any one of them perform. The comedy lineup was Regina Givens, Shaun G. Frank The Old Guy, Ricco Da Great, Alec Hamlin, Fred Sub and Tristan Johnson. If you wasn’t there you missed out on a incredibly funny comedy show. The show opens with R&B singer Chuck Saldivar and crew. Rapper Hennessy closed the first half of the show and Yissarian (R&B/Soul singer) made it a night to remember.
The Winners
Comedian Tristan Johnson took the show and slam dunk 1st places in the “Last Comedian Standing” show on Saturday night July 23 at the Guild Theater. The audience loved him.
Regina Givens represented for the women comedians by taking 2nd places in the “Last Comedian Standing” show on Saturday night July 23 at the Guild Theater. Regina being the only woman comedian in the show came out and delivered a flawless performance. If you have never seen Regina perform check her out at the Touch A’ Class on Sunday nights.
